Aliso Viejo is the second best city to live in, according to rankings from the Chamber of Commerce. The business organization compared more than 2,500 California cities with populations over 25,000. It looked at factors such as employment, median earnings, housing, poverty, commute times, education and obesity. Aliso Viejo, which incorporated in 2001, has been continually ranked among the best cities to live and is considered one of the safest cities in California and the nation. The City embodies its motto of "Live Life Inspired."
